Gun Control without Banning Guns

It is commonly called “Back door gun control,” and its use is in full  is motion.

What it equates to is the use of legislation or other government means to effect or ban the peripheral goods and/or services that are needed for gun owners to use their firearms, or effect environmental or access rights to land, raw materials. and the like. By limiting periphery, gun control can be accomplished without actually going directly for the guns.

The Second Amendment Foundation fights against unconstitutional limits on the 2nd Amendment. You can read about their latest fight in Alameda County, Calif., which tried to shut down the opening of a local gun shop by a last minute change in local “rules.”

Another story of how an armed citizen stopped an armed robber. If bad people can have, and will have guns, what possible sense is there in good people not having guns? If you are threatened with a gun, using a knife, mace, or throwing a dish at the guy isn’t going to even the score or give you the upper hand, which you will need to survive.

Oklahoma Mom Protects Her Baby

What good would screaming or throwing pillows or dishes done for this Oklahoma City mom?

“I wouldn’t have done it, but it was my son,” McKinley told ABC News. “It’s not an easy decision to make, but it was either going to be him or my son. And it wasn’t going to be my son. There’s nothing more dangerous than a woman with a child.”

She called 911 and hunkered down in her bedroom with her baby and her 12-Gauge and handgun.

“I’ve got two guns in my hand — is it okay to shoot him if he comes in this door?” the young mother asked the 911 dispatcher. “I’m here by myself with my infant baby, can I please get a dispatcher out here immediately?” Of course the 911 dispatcher didn’t say it was OK, but did tell her to do what was necessary to protect her baby and herself.
